Bluemix UI Updates: Region Selector

As the UI lead for the IBM Bluemix web interface, I’ve had the chance to write about new functionality as it’s been released over the last few months. We’ve just gone live with our updates for May, so please check out my post on the official Bluemix blog. The updates include:

  • Addition of “Bring your Own Buildpack” to the catalog
  • Enhanced navigation with collapsible navigation area.
  • Improved handling of app-related data changes on the server.
  • Refreshed styling of banner, Dashboard header, App/Service Detail headers, and input dialogs.
  • Updated documentation.
  • Numerous usability improvements and bug fixes.

And, for reference, here are pointers to my earlier blog posts regarding Bluemix UI updates:

Maqetta Logo

Prior to my current work on BlueMix, I was a committer on Maqetta. Maqetta is an open source project that provides WYSIWYG visual authoring of HTML5 user interfaces (desktop and mobile). It is made available as part of the Dojo Foundation.

I no longer work on Maqetta, and IBM no longer invests resources in it. But, as I start a new blog presence here, I wanted to consolidate links to my previous Maqetta-related articles and blog posts in one place.
